EXPERIENCE

Kimberly spent 10 years as an associate, senior, manager and senior manager in tax at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, and Ernst & Young.

The Gay CPA® is about giving my LGBTQ clients a safe choice when choosing their CPA. As a gay woman, myself, I know the accounting world can be conservative. The relationship one establishes with his/her CPA is personal. I offer a safe environment to all I server. My being The Gay CPA® is one way of giving back to my community.

I worked on many R&D tax credit studies for some of the major oil and gas companies as well as conducting R&D studies for the top four Fortune 500 oilfield services companies. I also spent two years in audit defense and participated in an IRS FastTrack proceeding.

I thought it would be more fulfilling to provide services to individuals and small businesses. Since starting her own practice, she has been rewarded many times over by the helping individual taxpayers and small business owners. She applies her Big 4 experience to each and every client.

AICPA CODE OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

Integrity is one of the essential pillars of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Code of Professional Conduct.  Kimberly is a member in good standing with the AICPA.

COMMITMENT TO CLIENTS

I strive to develop a long-term relationship built on trust and mutual respect. By providing financial and operational leadership, guidance and advice I can assist you in increasing your income and improving your quality of life.

Recognizing that each client has unique goals, I tailor my  services to meet your specific needs. To better meet the needs of my clients, I have individualized services for clients in industries like construction, oil and gas, franchising, medical, professional services and various consumer services. And, of course, the LGBTQ community. These individualized services have enabled me to address their industry specific challenges, compliance needs and standard tax practices.

These individualized services have enabled us to address their industry specific challenges, compliance needs, working capital issues and standard tax practices. I approach each client relationship as if I were business partners in their small business. I take the time to know and understand the business and individual financial issues so that I may deliver personalized service that is deserved and expected.

Utilizing a hands on approach to client service and my creativity and experience, we are able to advise clients and provide recommendations to current changes and the concerns that might arise before they become problems. That is why I stay involved with our clients and their businesses throughout the year.
